According to Festus Okoye, during an appearance on Channels Television’s Sunrise Daily on Friday, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) reported that the suspended Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) of Adamawa, Hudu Ari, is missing. Okoye also called on the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) to declare him wanted for declaring All Progressives Congress candidate, Senator Aisha Dahiru, also known as Binnani, as the winner of the April Adamawa supplementary poll. Despite the Commission’s efforts to contact Ari, including phone calls and letters requesting that he report to the Commission on Sunday and Monday, he did not respond, and his current whereabouts are unknown.
