
Prince Bola Ajibola, the former Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, passed away at the age of 89, and was buried in accordance with Islamic rites. He was the Oluomo of Egbaland and Olori Omo Oba of Owu Kingdom. The Chief Imam of Egbaland, Sheik Sa’dallah Bamgbola, led Janazah (prayers) before the burial at the Islamic Mission for Africa (IMA) premises, which he established. President Muhammadu Buhari, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, and other dignitaries offered their condolences to the Ajibola family, the government and people of Ogun State, and the legal community in Nigeria and worldwide. Ajibola’s contributions to the development of Nigeria’s legal system, as well as his dedication to education, were highlighted by those who mourned him.
