Spotify marked the release of Davido’s latest album, “Timeless,” with a pop-up party, featuring art installations highlighting the Afrobeats star’s career and album, and DJs playing music from the album. Davido, who was in the US for promotional duties, sent a video message thanking fans for their support. The album release was much-anticipated and marks a new chapter for the artist, who collaborated with Nigerian streetwear brand Severe Nature to produce Timeless merchandise. The album features a strong cast of producers, songwriters, and guest features, as well as two new signees to Davido’s label. Spotify data shows that the US is Davido’s largest market, while the UK, Nigeria, Canada, and France complete the top five countries where his music is streamed.
