Hajia Sameera Mohammed Abu, the wife of the late Lieutenant Colonel Muhammad Abu Ali CON, a Kogi-born Army officer who was killed in an ambush by Boko Haram in Borno state in 2016, was hosted by Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello at his official residence, Lugard House, Lokoja. During the visit, Governor Bello expressed his condolences and assured Hajia Abu Ali that his administration would continue to keep in touch with families of fallen heroes. He acknowledged that there were burdens that only the Almighty could control, and thanked her for her patience and belief in His will. In response, Hajia Abu Ali thanked the governor for his rare gesture of support, and expressed gratitude for his continued assistance to her family.
