In a statement issued by the Rivers Police Public Relations Officer, SP Grace Iringe-Koko, Effiong reassured the public that the police officers involved would be investigated according to the regulations governing police conduct.
As a champion of human rights, the CP has guaranteed the public that the police officers will be investigated in compliance with existing regulations governing the conduct of police personnel, and appropriate penalties will be imposed as a result.
Furthermore, the Command is committed to upholding the rule of law in Rivers State, and citizens are encouraged to report instances of human rights violations and other offenses.
