
Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the Governor of Lagos State, has expressed his support for Hilda Baci, a renowned chef, in her endeavor to set a new Guinness World Record for the longest cooking time.
Hilda Baci, also known as the Nigerian Jollof Queen, is currently participating in a four-day cook-a-thon at Amore Gardens, Lekki, in which she aims to break the previous record of 87 hours, 45 minutes, and 00 seconds set by Chef Lata Tondon in India in 2019.

Mr. Sanwo-Olu showed his support for Hilda Baci at the event on Sunday and encouraged the audience to continue cheering her on. The cook-a-thon, which began on Thursday at 4 p.m., features celebrity visits, networking, games, and brand activations.
Hilda Baci, an actress and TV producer who has demonstrated her culinary skills on various TV cooking shows and won the Jollof Faceoff Competition in 2021, plans to take an hour break after every 12 hours of cooking. With a target of 93 hours of continuous cooking, Hilda Baci hopes to establish a new Guinness World Record and further elevate her reputation as a prominent figure in the culinary world.
