During the Easter Sunday celebration at Dunamis International Gospel Centre’s headquarters in Abuja, Pastor (Dr.) Paul Enenche expressed his belief that Nigeria is going through a dreadful phase. He stated that anyone who thinks that the country is presently in its best days is either demon-possessed, a pathological liar, or demented and should not be taken seriously. Enenche called for prayers from congregants and emphasized that the country must recover its lost glory soon.
Enenche’s comments come amidst the current state of affairs in Nigeria. He insisted that only those who are hypocritical liars or demonized and demented will see evil and call it good or progress. Notably, in February, a group called for Enenche’s arrest over alleged inciting remarks. However, the call was considerably weakened following a reaction from several other groups.
