Jack Dorsey, the co-founder and former CEO of Twitter, has unveiled a new app called “Bluesky” for Android users, just hours after losing his verification badge on Twitter. Bluesky is intended to be an alternative to Twitter, which is now owned by Elon Musk. According to the app’s website, it will offer users more options and provide creators with independence from social media platforms. The app is still in development and can only be accessed with an invitation code. The site states that they are creating the AT Protocol, a new foundation for social networking, which will give developers the freedom to build, creators independence from platforms, and users a choice in their experience.
