Mercy Aigbe, an actress and movie producer, is expressing her joy in her newfound Muslim faith. After converting to Islam three years ago, Aigbe has been interacting with her fans and sharing her excitement about the decision she made. She noted that although she is just beginning to get familiar with the religion, her husband has been very supportive.
During an interactive session in Lagos State, Aigbe confirmed that converting to Islam is one of the best decisions she has made in her life. She stated that it is an exciting new journey for her, one she is willing to continue to practice and learn. Additionally, Aigbe shared that her acting career would not be affected by her new faith, as her religion and career are two separate things.
Aigbe had announced her conversion from Christianity to Islam during the last Ramadan when she appeared in Muslim attire. She also disclosed that she had adopted a new name and would like to be addressed as Hajia Meenah.
