During the International Ministers Conference organized by Living Faith Church, Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo, founder of Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA), shared his testimony about how the prayer of the presiding Bishop, David Oyedepo of Living Faith Church Worldwide, healed him from a deadly sickness. Fatoyinbo recounted how he was ill last year and Oyedepo prayed for him, and he recovered. He expressed gratitude to God for the healing and described Oyedepo as a man whose words come to pass instantly. Photos showed Fatoyinbo appearing emaciated due to the severe illness he experienced.
In the past, Fatoyinbo faced accusations of sexual misconduct from multiple women, including Ese Walter in August 2013 and Busola Dakolo, a celebrity photographer and wife of gospel singer Timi Dakolo, who alleged that Fatoyinbo raped her twice when she was a minor about 20 years prior. Fatoyinbo denied the allegations, and a court dismissed the case, ruling it empty and purely sentimental, and fined Busola 1 Million Naira for wasting the court’s time.
In January 2022, Nnenna Kalu-Ude, a former member of COZA, accused Fatoyinbo of complicity in the death of Tega Akpofure, a member of the COZA music team. However, Akpofure’s husband subsequently contradicted the allegation.
