
Chief Yinka Fasuyi was installed as the Balogun of the Cathedral of Holy Trinity Cathedral, Omofe, Ilesa by the Bishop of Ilesa Southwest Diocese of the Church of Nigeria, Anglican Communion, Osun State, Right Reverend Samuel Egbebunmi, along with other archbishops and bishops from different dioceses.
Fasuyi’s appointment was based on his integrity, uprightness, and love for humanity, according to Egbebunmi, who noted that Fasuyi hails from a noble family with a legacy of dedicated leadership in the church.
In their goodwill messages, Oba Adekunle Aromolaran, Dr. Toyin Coker, and Mrs. Olusola Fasuyi-Coker praised Fasuyi’s leadership qualities and expressed confidence in his ability to serve the church community as the Balogun Ijo of the cathedral.
Evangelist Ebenezer Obey-Fabiyi congratulated Fasuyi and described his conferment with the title as a well-deserved honour.
In his remarks, Fasuyi expressed gratitude to the church community and leadership for finding him worthy of the honour, stating that he would not take the leadership position for granted. He pledged to serve in God’s vineyard with his love for God and his desire to put his best into the service of the church.
