
In a message issued by his Chief Press Secretary (CPS), Gboyega Akosile, Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, extended his congratulations to the Muslim faithful in the state on the occasion of Eid-el-Fitri, marking the end of the Holy Month of Ramadan. The governor wished them good health and prosperity, and urged them to continue on the path of spirituality and peaceful co-existence. He also reminded them not to depart from the lessons learned during the holy month, especially on perseverance, tolerance, and good behavior towards one another. Sanwo-Olu emphasized the significance of the Holy Month of Ramadan to Muslims across the world and encouraged everyone to continue to live in a state of grace.
