
In a statement issued by his Special Adviser, Muyiwa Adekeye, Kaduna State Governor Malam Nasir El-Rufai called on the Muslim Ummah to continue practicing the teachings of Ramadan in their daily activities. He congratulated the Muslim ummah on the occasion of Eid-el-Fitr and the successful completion of the fast, and urged them to observe the acts of goodwill, generosity, and patience exhibited during Ramadan in their daily lives. The governor also commended the focus on faith and spiritual rejuvenation during the holy month of Ramadan and appealed to all communities in Kaduna State to uphold peace and harmony despite the security challenges in many communities.
Similarly, Ekiti State Governor, Mr Biodun Oyebanji congratulated Muslims in Ekiti State and Nigeria at large on the successful completion of the holy month of Ramadan and urged them to imbibe the lessons of the season. He noted that completing the 30-day Ramadan fast is an act of grace from the Almighty Allah and urged Muslims to sustain the holy living exhibited during Ramadan in their daily lives. He called on Muslims and adherents of other faiths to sustain their partnership in prayerfully contributing to the peace and development of Ekiti State and Nigeria.
