Davido’s ‘Timeless’ also broke the record for the biggest first-day stream on Spotify’s Nigerian platform, with 4.91 million streams on its first day, surpassing Burna Boy’s ‘Love, Damini.’ Additionally, the album garnered 7.25 million streams on its opening day on Boomplay, surpassing Burna Boy’s “Love, Damini” at 3.38 million streams.
Davido spoke about some of the songs on the album, highlighting “Away” as a classic Davido sound and “No Competition” and “BOP” as collaborations with Asake and Dexter Daps, respectively. He praised the production of “No Competition” by 1da Banton and described “BOP” as a song that will be loved by women.
