Chief Nick Ovuakporie, a former State Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta State, has urged Senator Ovie Omo-Agege to drop his election petition and congratulate the Governor-elect, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). Ovuakporie called on Omo-Agege to display the qualities of a statesman and congratulate Oborevwori in the spirit of sportsmanship. He advised Omo-Agege to avoid wasting his energy on an election petition that would lead him nowhere. Ovuakporie, who defected from the APC to the PDP a few weeks to the Presidential/Governorship election, made the call during a press interview in Warri on Friday.
