The Christ Ambassadors’ Fellowship (CAF) of the Christ Miracle Church Mission (CMCM) has launched the Christ Ambassador’s Education Endowment Fund (CAEEF) to enhance education for children from elementary to higher institutions. The Chairman of CAF, Ambassador Kunle Filani, stated that this intervention was necessary to support educated and purposeful children in the face of the country’s economic challenges. However, only select underprivileged members of the Church will benefit from the endowment.
The keynote speaker at the event, legal practitioner Olatunde Adejuyigbe (SAN), spoke about ‘The Spiritual and Metaphysical Benefits of Philanthropy’ and urged Nigerians to prioritize helping the poor over indulging in luxurious lifestyles. He emphasized that stealing from the treasury and giving to people is not philanthropy, and that offering should be a spiritual sacrifice.
The Chairperson of CAF Week 2023, Amb. Adeoti Adejuyigbe, explained that the purpose of launching the Educational Endowment Fund was to empower young children and make them productive members of society. She emphasized the urgent need for such intervention in the country’s current economic climate.
The Chairman of the Christ Ambassador’s Education Endowment Fund (CAEEF), Amb. Lekan Abdul, stated that the endowment is designed to transform lives and revolutionize the act of selfless giving. The focus is on sponsoring smart, intelligent, and purposeful children from primary to tertiary level education who come from less-privileged members of the fellowship. With the fund, each child will be sponsored by one individual, and they will also receive mentorship and guidance.
Finally, the President of CMCM, Prophet Peter Aladebisi (JP), represented by Pastor Oke James, explained that the CAEEF Programme is spiritually put in place for the growth and expansion of the gospel of Christ. The program will advance and spread the gospel of Christ, and donors who give towards this project will be blessed.
