Isah Ladan Bosso, the Head Coach of Nigeria’s U20 team, has called up 39 players to their training camp as they make final preparations for the FIFA U20 World Cup in Argentina. FIFA recently transferred the hosting rights from Indonesia to Argentina, but the championship’s scheduled dates, May 20 to June 11, remain unchanged.
The Flying Eagles, who secured third place at the Africa U20 Cup of Nations held in Egypt last month, will represent one of four African teams at the tournament alongside Senegal, The Gambia, and Tunisia.
All 39 invited players have been instructed to report to Chida Hotel in Abuja on April 16th, with training sessions starting the next day.
